Making A Purchase.  Woodies does not treat your online order as a binding contract.  Woodies uses this service purely as an indication of your interest and as a means of transfering credit/debit details safely and securely. We will treat the order as confirmed until we have contacted you in person either by email or by telephone and discussed shipping etc.  Be aware you will receive a confirmation that your intial order has been received.  We will then aim to get back to you within 2 working days to discuss and confirm your order. We have designed it as such to save you expenditure on shipping and to ensure you will receive everything you need.

We accept most major credit and debit cards. If you are outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your local currency. Your credit/debit card will not be debited until the product/s are ready to dispatch.

We do not charge for any item until we have confirmed with yourself and the item is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information by phone, fax or via our secure website checkout.

Pricing.  Prices stated in our Price Guide and on this site are in GBP (Pounds) and are correct as at the date of the last update and do not include VAT (17.5%). Every endeavor will be made to hold these prices. However, Woodies reserves the right to alter prices without prior notice.

V.A.T.  Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate will be levied on all orders (excluding books) being dispatched to all countries within the European Community. VAT is not charged on goods dispatched to countries outside of the EC.

Overseas Ordering.  As with the U.K. we accept orders by post, telephone, e-mail, and fax or via our web store. If you visit the U.K. we would be delighted if you visited our store. When ordering, please ensure that you enclose full details of your name, address, plus details of your car (i.e. year of manufacture and model). Please note, overseas orders are often subject to local import duties, taxes and Customs clearance, which will need to be paid for at the point of entry. These charges are NOT included in the price of the goods or delivery prices. All relevant Customs forms and documentation needed to ensure the order arrives with the minimum of delay will be included with your shipment. If you have any special requirements, please contact us to discuss them.
Please remember that delivery charges are dependent upon the size and weight of the shipment. If a quotation is required prior to placing an order, please contact us and we will be pleased to supply a full quotation to you.

Shipping And Handling Because of the wide variety of products, we are unable to define carriage charges in advance. We will e-mail you the total invoice value, including carriage, when we have received your order and an accurate carriage charge can be applied. We have provided a rough idea of the shipping costs, when ordering more than one item you will normally make a substantial saving on this "rough" guide. If you require a carriage cost estimate prior to placing your order, please contact us and we will provide details. Charges are based on the actual weight or size of the shipment.
